Condolence from Lena Collins on February 27th, 2020 10:25 am

Toniqua,
My big cuz man this feels so wrong to be writing you a message about how I’ll miss you being here on earth. Like everyday that has passed since February 16th, feels like a blur. I talked to grandma and she still awaits the day you’ll call, but that won’t ever happen again. When I was younger you and Tyerria would always come to grandma’s and take me and my sister around with y’all and get us into things. Since I was the youngest cousin at the time, you’d make me promise not to tell grandma what shenanigans we got into and I wouldn’t say a peep. After grandpa passed away it felt like the first big Raymond loss for me. I’m so happy that the family could come together to celebrate. You and I sat in my mom’s basement reminiscing on everything from you living with us on Eddystone when Lee and I were wee little babies (since we are 2ish months apart) and you promised that we would start seeing each other a lot more because life was too short and you realized that with grandpa. Now fast foward and you’re gone and it just doesn’t sit right with my soul. Thank you for blessing me with beautiful little cousins. The family will always look after them in your honor. I’ll miss you tremendously big cuz and I hope you’re smiling, I hope your dancing, I hope you’re clowning, I hope you joined Grandpa and Uncle Brian as soon as heaven’s gates welcomed you in. Love love love love love you Toniqua.

Your “youngest” cuz,
Lena ❤
