BARNETT-KPOTOTonya Barnett-Kpoto, age 43. Sunrise August 28, 1971 and Sunset October 19, 2014. She attended Temple of Faith and was employed as a Homehealth Aide. Tonya is survived by her parents Maxine and Charles Barnett, daughter Juaniqua Griffin, sons Vincent Griffin and Isaiah Steward, brothers Richard Charles Barnett and James (Sandy) Keys, sisters Patricia Scales and Georgia Lawson, uncles Andrew Williams and Timothy Williams, special sister friend Tisha Simpkens, 8 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday October 25, 2014 at Temple of Faith Church of God in Christ 1441 Brentnell Ave. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park. Arrangements entrusted to MARLAN J. I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Tonya. I used to braid her hair in the mid 90s and we use to have some very nice conversations. She was a very sweet person. My condolences to her family and friends, I’ll keep you all in prayer. Amen.

I just wanna say I miss you and wish I could see you again grandma I’m so lonely down here without you and when grandpa left my life has been a disaster and I’m trying to do better and I almost took my own life but grandma Maxine talked to me and my mom and I’m trying get good grades and I just fail everything I’m just nothing and I’m too big I don’t have anyone to help me lose weight or anything I try myself but it’s too hard for me I’ve tried starving myself that didn’t work nothing I do helps and that’s why I wanted to end it all because I know that I am nothing but Imma try an get a job and hopefully I get accepted and I can start a new life working or something but I just miss you granny and love you❤️Rest easy
