TyQuan “Daddy” Hawkins-Scruggs, age 20. Sunrise Jan. 7, 1997. Sunset April 27, 2017.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Matthew and Dollours Mason and Edmond and Edith Boston.
Left to cherish his memory, father, Tyrone (Tina Morris) Hawkins; mother, LaQuanna Scruggs; sister, Sanetria Hawkins-Cain; brothers, TyKal Hawkins, Jamair and Jawone Dew; aunts, Brandy and Jamia Smith, Kenyata Hawkins; uncles, Ezana Boston, TyWong Hawkins, Robert and William “BJ” Rogers; grandmothers, Marcella Boston, Bonita Scruggs; grandfathers, James Smith, Tyrone Hawkins, Sr.; great grandmother, Betty (Walter) Scruggs; special cousins, Markaizha and Shiyone Jones, Kiyami McAfee and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 Funeral Service 12Noon at the MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Avenue. (1 block east of Noe-Bixby turn north on Lonsdale Road).

He was a very good person. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about him! Rest in peace L.A… Youre loved & missed by so many.

My head hurts I grew up with him and all those crazy days in school and all the laughter and me getting on him for being so dang short, I haven’t talked to him in a while but it’s still sad to see him go rip LA ❤️

It still doesn’t seem real… many memories we shared, and ill never forget them. You never got to meet Carter, but you were so excited.. We drifted apart as you went your separate ways , but you’ll always have a huge place in my heart… I wish the last time we spoke would have been better.. only if I’d known it was the last time.. rest easy .. love always, Courtney & Carter
