The Bible often compare death to sleep,John 11:11-14.God can awaken the dead just as we awaken a person sleep. My sincere condolences.

Condolence from Elder Roy T. & Mother Sharon B. Day on January 30th, 2019 8:41 pm

Our Brother in Christ and our Friend: God called you from labor to reward with a Crown. Tyrone carried me to Rehoboth Temple on a Wednesday night. Him, Elder Smith, and the late Bishop (then Deacon) Joseph Pannell baptized me in the Name of Jesus Christ. I received the Holy Ghost that same night, rising from the water, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave utterance. Ty and I bonded that same day. Shortly that week, my wife Sharon was taken to Rehoboth and she received as I did. Our families became very close and to this day, God has blessed our families, healed within the families, delivered us from afflictions and much more. Truly, my (OUR) heart is overcome with grief, but Juanita, we all KNOW that God has smiled upon Ty. He is at rest now, in the Sweet Hands of Our Lord Jesus Christ. No more pain and sorrow; no more tears and fears; nothing left but a Sweet Ringing of the Joy Bells, deep in our Hearts. To our Children, you may be sad now, but your father left a path for you to follow. With the help from God Almighty, and your fellowship in His Love, we shall all SEE HIM again, in a place called “Heaven.”

Condolence from Irish J. Richardson on January 31st, 2019 10:56 am

To the Burton family. My heart is with you and your family at this time of your loss. There is comfort in knowing God’s promises about the resurrection hope. (Acts 24:15) and (John 5:28,29) In the past God has resurrected humans and He is eager to do it again because He hates death. (Mark 5:41-43) To learn more about God’s promises go to JW.ORG. There are online Bible study lessons featured and more. Love Your Neighbor Irish J. Richardson.
