Ulysses Leroy “Skip” Staten was born September 19, 1959 in Columbus, OH to Virginia Staten.
Skip went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2021.
Skip is preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Allen and great grandmother, Mother Georgia Fears Baker.
Skip leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Virginia “Jenny” Barnes; uncle, Butch Wilson; cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Rick Witter; good friend and caregiver, Sharon Hunter; special friends, Yalonda Eugene Gillen and Mae Canesia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Skip will by truly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
