Viola M. Rigsbee

RigsbeeViola001

Viola Marie Rigsbee A.K.A “Vi”, or Momma V but better known as “Vivacious Vi” born on February 7, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to Elsie Woods and Richard D. Jones, age 65 went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2018.

Vi was a ball of fun. She was the life of the party and would give you the shirt off her back. Vi was what one would say who “tells it like it is” you never had to guess what was on her mind, and how she felt about you.

Vi enjoyed watching television while smacking on a bag of candy! The Sci-fi network, and law and order were her favorites. Although she was known to be a jokester, Vi always made sure she called you just to say, “I Love you!”

Viola is preceded in death by daughter Chiquita E. Jones, stepfather Ollis Woods, father Richard D. Jones, grandmother Viola M. Flowers, and great granddaughter Dynasti Jones.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; beloved mother Elsie Woods, children Leon J. Jones, Katrina (William) Loomis, and Danny (Stephanie) Rigsbee Jr., grandchildren Lashawnda (Marcus) Travis, Tiaira (Brandon) Devereaux, JaJuan Evans, Michael Douglas, Desmond Jones, Tri’nae Holloway, Alexia, Savonte, Danielle, Khari, William, India, Ceona Jones, Dantaja, and Danny, God grandson Deonta Forrest, siblings Camellia Woods, Patricia Woods, Danny Woods, Juan Lee (Felicia) Woods, and Fiance Jack Harris, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Monday, January 7, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
