  24. What a pleasure it was to get to know Butch during my time on Mansfield Council. While we agreed on some things, I think we both enjoyed the spirited debate we had on things we disagreed on. I sat next to Butch for many years, and his primary concern was always the people of Mansfield, the betterment of lives for all Mansfielders, and the future of our city. My deepest condolences to all his loved ones, family and friends, as you mourn at the loss of a really good man, and a lifelong contributor to his city and country.
