Walter was proceeded in death by his mother Vera Medley and father Walter Medley II.

Walter was an avid bowler and had many friends in his bowling community. Walter was well decorated within the bowling community with several 300 games. Those who knew Walter knew his love for sports, bowling, and enjoying spending time with his family.
