Walter Jackson, age 56. Sunrise August 6, 1963 and Sunset August 12, 2019.

Walter was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in the Windsor Terrace with his siblings. He attended Linden McKinley High School and was very athletic. Walter played football, enjoyed boxing, basketball , poker, and traveling especially Miami beaches and Las Vegas.

Walter was passionate in what he did. He later formed his own global import and export business global med brokers that was recognized worldwide. If there was anything you could say about Walter, would be that he gave what he had to anyone in need. He often enjoyed spoiling his mother around the country.

He is preceded in death by; father Frank Drew, grandson Ricardo Mills, grandmother Mamie Carey, sister Khansa (Rochelle) Abdur-Rabbani, aunt Olivia Wilson, nephews Hajj Abdur-Rabbani and James R. Bryant III., and special friend Marcus Spencer.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories; mother Juanita Jackson, children Zina Sanford, Najah Jackson, and Gabe Rawlings, sisters Sylvia Jackson, Monda Williams, Cynthia Jackson, Tyra Jackson, Sharon Love, and Kayla Jackson, brothers Frank (Vanessa) Drew Sr., Quan Jackson, Frankie Jackson, brother in law Abdullah Abdur-Rabbani, grandchildren Paris Mills, and Armani Hamm, special cousins Dylan Barrett, and Wendy Gregory, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends
Walter was no regular individual, he made an imprint on all his family and friends. He will always continue to live in all of our hearts.

Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.

    Walty was a marvelous boy who grew to be an awesome man. He truly made me proud. I am so sorry we lost touch with one another. I thank the Lord for allowing us to be an important part of one another’s lives. He was my second grade student and the ring bearer in my wedding. I loved him dearly!
