Wanda attended West High School and Fort Hayes Career Center. She was a talented musician and songstress from the age of 3. She truly loved the Lord and was a lover of music. She could play every instrument made. She loved her flutes who she named Freddy and Roger. Wanda loved to Garden, cook, feed everybody and give anyone a place to stay. At an early age she dedicated her life to Christ and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Condolence from Linda Brooks on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

Wanda Rash was a very special person in my life she encouraged me as I encouraged her. we built a unbreakable sisterhood. I can say that she loved the lord unconditionally in sickness and in health she continuosly gave him praise. Which bring me to this scripture
"es;My Flesh my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever"es; psalm 73:26 I wrote a special poem for Wanda called:
ROSE COLORED SHADES
Behind those rose colored shades there was a lot of joy and a lot of pain.
Behind those rose-colored shades music danced in your head every day.
Those rose-colored shades were your signature of cool as you stood on the stage sang and played your flute. I can hear your laughter and I can see your smile I can hear your voice of encouragement coming from a very warm place. Your voice made me shudder, and sometimes cry as I listened to you sing I was mesmerized. I cherish our sisterhood and the time I spent with you it was full of laughter, crying together, sharing secrets, encouragement, and love.
Love always your sister and friend you will always be in my heart until we meet again.
REST IN PARADISE WANDA L. RASH

My sincere condolences to Wanda's family; I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. I've known Wanda since our days at Fort Hayes as singer/musician 'friends'. Her smile could brighten any room and her singing voice could lift you to 'higher heights'. Family, you are in my prayers; remember "es;Earth has NO sorrow, that HEAVEN cannot heal."es;

Condolence from Darchelle L. Williams on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

"es;Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning"es;. I remember my last phone conversation with my friend Wanda. It was last year when I was very ill myself. She prayed with me, gave me words of encouragement, reminiced about the beautiful Music we often made together and as always…we ended our call with I love you and God Bless you. She will be sadly missed here on Earth and many of us will weep as we suffer a great loss, but we can also feel great joy in knowing that she is now with The Lord and reaping her Heavenly reward. My condolences go out to her family. May God grant you Peace, Love and Music.

Condolence from Lyric on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

To Wanda's Family and Friends:

Please accept condolences at this time. I hold on to the resurrection hope that will end such sad occasions as this one.

Do you long for comfort in the face of death? One sure source of comfort can be found in the Bible’s resurrection accounts. Reading such accounts, meditating on them, and visualizing the events can make the resurrection hope more real to you. (Romans 15:4) These are not just stories. They actually happened to real people like us, living at a real time and in a real place. Let us focus briefly on one example—the first resurrection in the Bible record.

Hopefully that hope will fill your hearts today too.
