My sincere condolences to Mr. William’s family. I worked with him at Walmart and he was always a true gentleman and I want to call him a friend you could talk to. He was also a very hard worker and under appreciated. I will be praying for comfort and peace for your family

To Our Former next door neighbor Bill’ Tanksley Family. Bill and his Family was the BEST next door neighbors we could ever have been Blessed with. We moved in 1982 to another State and his wife Bea and I stayed in contact with each other ALWAYS sending cards to each other over the years, and phone calls. Our children went to school with each other and often played together. This is a hurt we were not expecting. Praying that our LORD will give the Family, Comfort during this very difficult time.
Sending Love to the family

Condolence from Marilyn Burnom on January 14th, 2021 10:37 am

We truly love this family. We have been Blessed with some of the best Uncles and Aunts in the World and Uncle Billie you are definitely one them. As a young girl Uncle Billie you were one of the men in my life that showed me what a Great man of God looked like. The way you took care of my Beautiful Aunt Bea and my precious cousins was displayed with such Love. The Love you showed to your parents, siblings, you even considered your in-laws FAMILY. I loved how you showed us your Love for God and your faithfulness to your church. I will never forget how you called my mother (your sister in law) Sis. Family was Family. Uncle Billie the summers you and Aunt Bea took us in were some of the best days of my life…. God allowed me to see a true Loving Great man of God. We love you and will never forget you. Thank you for the memories and for your Great example. Aunt Bea, Danny, Tyrone, Randy and Debbie. Love you guys and always praying for you. – Marilyn and Dexter Burnom and Family

Condolence from Vera (Lang) Ashley on January 14th, 2021 12:17 pm

I am your cousin from the Los Angeles area. Mary Lang (1923 – 2019) was my mother. I send my sympathy to my Uncle Billy’s family. I remember quite a few years ago, that Aunt Bea and Uncle Billy came to Los Angeles for a visit and stayed in our home. May good memories of Uncle Billy help to comfort you during this time of grieving. May the God of comfort guide you, direct you and give you HIS peace.
Sincerely, Vera (Lang) Ashley
