William Michael “Mike” Kyle passed away suddenly on December 8, 2022 in Columbus Ohio at the age of 40. He was born to Mary N. Kyle on March 12, 1982 in Columbus, Ohio. At Doctor’s North.

Mike played little League football for the Linden Eagles and East Linden Patriots. He also attends Ashland University. “Mike” as everyone knew him, had just come home from prison in September; where he retrieved his GED and was so proud of himself. Once home, “Mike” only wanted his wife and family back. He was on the right path and was working hard and trying to do everything right. He joined Elevation Church on Cleveland Ave in 2017.

Mike was preceded in death by his son, Ja’Shawn “Jman” Lightfoot, and grandparents, Lois of Columbus, Ohio and Frank of North Carolina.

Mike leaves to cherish his memory, wife; Johana “Jay” Kyle; sons, Mi’Jae “King” Kyle, Michael Kyle, and Taji Kyle; daughters, Queen ShawnTyese, Navea, Tequila and Tamoni; mother, Mary N. Kyle; stepfather, Virgil Roberson; brother, Kenneth Kyle; stepbrother, Virgil Roberson Jr.; special aunt, Kandy; uncle, Michael Wilson of North Carolina; cousins, Frank Jr., Shannon, Delashawn, Tequila, Jenny, Steven, and Matthew; grandchildren, Rey’Jaionté, Lamarion, and Lamia-Love; special aunts and uncles, Louis and Earlene, Shawn Kyle, Kenny, and Frank Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mike will be truly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Mike would like for all his friends, brothers, and sisters (you know who you are), to know he loved you.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Thursday, December 29, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.

  7. My deepest condolences. I’m broken to hear such new. I was in Juvi with Taji then bonded over to Noble. Sosa was with me since day 1. I was so happy when he was going home. The day before his release he had a long conversation with us all dapping us up, letting us know he loves us and he gonna hold it down out there. He was well respected and loved here at Noble.
