Willie F. Nivins, Jr. passed away on June 15, 2019 at the age of 62. Willie was born on October 31, 1956 in Columbus, OH to Willie F. Nivins, Sr. and Geraldine (Stewart) Nivins.
He graduated from Marion-Franklin High School in 1975 and recently retired from Radial Corp.
As an avid sports fan, Willie was a fierce supporter of the Cleveland Browns and Michigan Wolverines. He also loved music, especially classic R&B and was a proud, lifelong resident of Southfield. Willie was known as a loyal and compassionate friend.
Willie was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine and sister, Cynthia Nivins Harris.
He is survived by his father, Willie Sr. (Connie); step-mother, Emma Gene Nivins; daughter, Chisa Nivins; many loving family members, friends and longtime girlfriend, Portia Cooper.
Willie will be forever missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
