Willie Thomas Wall Jr.

wallimage

Life for Willie Thomas Wall, Jr. began on October 21, 1959. Life ended for him on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Willie, the first child born to the late Geneva and Willie Thomas Wall, Sr., was one of four sons.

Affectionately called “Porgie” by family and friends,

Willie Thomas was an endearing son and brother who brought much joy and laughter to his family.

Willie Thomas was educated in the school district of

Columbus, Ohio and had a passion for cars. He was always standing around helping someone with their automobiles and became entrepreneur of same at his own garage. You might have seen him on Face Book with dirty greasy hands and greasy clothes, all about his work, but he could get clean as a board of health. and was a handsome young man.

Willie was employed by A-Z Recycling Inc., Columbus, Ohio and was an employee one could depend on fulfilling his work.

Family was very important to “Porgie” even though you would not see him often, but somehow you would hear from him through others. He was jack of all trades and certainly, he thought he was the chef of barbequing. He loved being the “Center of Attraction”.

Willie Thomas. Jr. was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Calvin Wall .

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving father, Willie

Thomas Wall, Sr.; daughter, Sade Wall and six grandchildren; Shamarr Wall, Dantae Zious, Timothy Edwards, Sade Scott, Trevvon Scott and Adrain Carter-Ford; two brothers, James Wall and Christopher Wall and significant other, Latonya Fields-Jones, aunts, uncles, a host of relatives and friends.

Condolence Messages

  1. Sending my condolences to the walls family my childhood neighbors many cherished and laughter with all the siblings. May god continue to bring you comfort at this difficult time.

  2. Rest in peace “PORKY” from Butch and Benjii Mixon & Mark and Wayne Denham (Milo Grogan for life)

  3. It’s still hard to believe he’s gone. Porkie was one who I believed would still be here because he was truly a good person. He would always come by and check on my mom and I until the pandemic started, but we knew he was ok because Brian & Phil still had contact with him. Porkie you will truly be missed by the entire Lindsey family. Sending our deepest prayers and condolences to Mr. Willie, James, Chris, Sade, Latonya and the rest of the family. Love you Willie (Porkie) Wall Jr

  4. Thank you Latonya for answering his phone and letting us know, we really appreciate that.

“Porg” has been a friend and member of our family since we met at the Borden Building in the 1980’s. His dad, Mr. Wall would even laugh with us when he’d ask “does she still have that white 1990 Pontiac?.” I would say “yep, thanks to Porg” … Porg kept that car running for over 20 years.

Although this is a very difficult time and through disbelief, our Good Lord will keep the family in his almighty hands.

Cherished memories and continued prayers and uplifting!!! ♥️ May God Bless you all.
