Xavier Ladonte France-Melton, Sunrise: January 2nd, 1994 Sunset: June 10th, 2021. Xavier had a contagious smile, a nurturing spirit, and a great sense of humor. His positive spirit made an impact in the lives of so many people; Xavier’s desire to love, support and protect through life led him to serving 8 honorable years in the United States Marine Corp and he retired as a Sergeant. Xavier is survived by his wife, Alisha Melton and his two beautiful children Serenity and Kenneth Melton. His parents are Ayanna (Amos) Rayford and Damon (Mondrella) Melton. Xavier is also survived by his biological dad Walter France of Flint, Michigan. Xavier will be missed by his surviving brothers and sisters: Damon Jr., Aquil, Damyan, Damarian, Antown, Nasir, and Lollie Melton of Graysville, AL. Lil Walter III, Ronnie, Kelly, Jamario, Shauntae, Nene of Flint, Michigan, Jerrilyn, Clover, and Mya Monroe France of Mansfield. Xavier is also survived by his Grandmother, Diane (Peter) Black; and Grandfather, Leoda and Mary Melton. Xavier is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Lollie Jean Hughes; Grandfather, Frank Graves; Grandmother Brenda Sewell and Grandfather Walter France Sr. and Niece Lila Jean Melton. Xavier will be deeply missed by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Homegoing Service will be held at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE MANSFIELD (formerly Williams Funeral Services) 753 McPherson Street on June 26th, 2021. Viewing will begin at 11am and Private Family Funeral Services will start at 12pm. MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED. The Repass will follow immediately after at “Sons of Herman” located at 416 Orange Street Mansfield, OH 44902.
