Yvette F. Gordon was born on March 27, 1944 in Crown, West Virginia to the late Harry and Thelma Gordon. She departed this life on January 23, 2018 in the comfort of her home. God looked upon his angel and said, “Well done my child, come home”.
Awaiting her in Heaven are her parents, Harry and Thelma Gordon; grandmother, Mattie Gordon; brothers, Harry “Tommy”, Jerome , Leon “Pete” , Fredrick “Skace”, Harry Jr, Derek, and Kenneth Ray; sister in-law, Naomi Gordon; nieces, Amanda and Tamika Gordon; nephews, Demetrick “Meechie”, Roger, Demetrick “Bart”, Dwayne, James and Orlando Brooks.
Affectionate memories will be cherished by her children, Tony, Desean, Dorise (Kevin) and Shonte Gordon; sisters, Brenda (James) Brooks, Debra, Paula and Angela Gordon; brother, Tyrone “Wheat” Gordon; sisters in-law, Debra, Amanda and Vera Gordon; grandchildren, Debra, Unique, Ryan, Lonelle, Jada, Deqwan, Montel, Tyneara and Shantez; 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. She will be forever loved and greatly missed.
