A beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend, Oddessie Deneise LaShon Teague unexpectedly passed away on March 1, 2021.
Born in Columbus, Ohio on June 10, 2000 to Odell and LaSonya (Gailes)Teague. She attended Licking Heights schools, graduating from Academy of Urban Scholars in Columbus, OH.
Oddessie grew up surrounded by family and friends that dearly loved her. She always had a smile on her face that lit up the room. She was a loving and caring person and was full of energy. She always looked out for everybody and had a giving spirit. She had a vibe that could never be matched.
Oddessie was preceded in death by her grandparents Rosie and John Gailes; grandfather Odell Teague; nephew Omari. She leaves behind her parents Odell and Lasonya Teague; sisters Cassandra and Odeajah; brother Corey; nieces Jenesis and Jordyn; grandparents Elder Charlene Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Oddessie will by forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Private Visitation 9:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd). Mask and Social Distancing are required.

I never really had a chance to really meet the family but I just want to say I really love that gurl we had our time and good times I remember so many memories I just can’t believe but I ask and pray that god gives the whole strength and covering over this all I know it’s stuff but god is with you and she’s with you I love you OD MISS YOU !!!

My dearest family…. I’m so sorry we lost an angel but God knows best I will always keep her memories in my heart.I’m so grateful that she sent my daughter pictures of them when they were kids!! God makes no mistake,he got y’all!!! Love y’all!!!

Been almost two years and it hurts more than ever now that it is getting closer to your birthday.
Now we are dealing with the passing of your mother a few days ago.
