Anthony Craig Bridges passed away peacefully on December 8, 2023, at Grant Medical Center. He was born on January 22, 1960, to Tommy, Sr. and Patricia Bridges, the second son and third child born from their union.

Craig graduated from Briggs High School in 1979, and enlisted in the United States Army in 1980, where he served as a mechanic and sharpshooter until receiving an honorable discharge in 1988.

His post-military career included work in the construction field, and more recently, he was a volunteer at a local church.

Craig had both an affable and relaxed personality, and a great sense of humor, which is a common family trait. He was also very skillful and could be relied upon to help with any task.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Tommy E. Bridges, Sr; mother, Patricia A. Bridges; brothers, Tommy, Jr., and Gregory Bridges; half-sisters, Tamara “Tammy” Bridges.

He is survived by his son, Ricky Bridges; daughters, LaToya (Ervin) Vincent and LaTisha Bridges; grandchildren, Cameron, Collin, and Cairyn Vincent; beloved sister, Tawnya Bridges; half-siblings, James Bridges, Sr. Winston Bridges, Robert (Karen) Bridges, Sr., Michael Fisher, Koslynn Robinson, and Charlotte Waldon; nieces and nephews, who often referred to him as “Uncle Bucket”, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Craig will be interred at the Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, OH.

Mr Anthony Craig Bridges, age 63. Sunrise January 22, 1960 and Sunset December 8, 2023.
