Our Beautiful, Anita Louis Adams-Cooper, age 61, was granted her Angel wings on July 31, 2021. Her final days were spent hand and hand with her beloved husband of 24 wonderful years.

Anita was born May 21, 1960, to the loving parents, of the late, Thomas E. Adams, and Loretta B. Willis, in Saint Albans, West Virginia. Anita became a mother to her only son, Tyunn J. Adams, in July 1979.

On April 26, 1997, Anita started dating the love of her life, Dennis L. Cooper. Two years later, to celebrate their anniversary, they were joined in marriage. Anita loved to work and made it her mission to care for others. For over ten years, Anita has worked for Columbus City Schools, Special Bus Compound, where she will be missed dearly.

Anita is preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Adams; two nephews, Gene Brown and Kevin Brown Jr.; and grandparents, Curtis E. Busbee, and Fannie L. Busbee.

Anita leaves to cherish her memory, husband of 22 years, Dennis L. Cooper; son Tyunn J. Adams; step-daughter, Marquita (Leonard) Mitchell; two step-sons, Dennis L. Cooper Jr., and Desmond Cooper; grandchildren, Tyunn J. Adams Jr., and Leah Y. Adams; mother, Loretta B. Willis; sisters, Loretta A. Adams, April (Nelson) Adams-Cage, Jovan R. Helton, Barbara A. Champion; sisters-in-law, Lynn-Latonya Porter, and Kim Crockett; brother, Thomas A. Adams; brother- in-law, Garry (Dana) Cooper; and a host of extended family including uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
