Anthony Fitzgerald Davis was born February 2, 1970 to Lawrence Spiller, Jr. and Muzetta (Davis) Roberts. Our community has sadly lost a great soul Wednesday, December 16, 2020, when Anthony Davis favorably known as AD/Aye Dee passed away peacefully at his residence.
After proudly graduating from Linden-McKinley High School, Anthony then joined the United States Navy, where he served in the Gulf War. He moved back to his home roots in Columbus, where he resided in his childhood neighborhood. AD helped his community while working downtown for Faith Mission, where he poured his laughter on all those he interacted with. AD was the life of the party and created friendships, bonds, and relationships that were full of laughs, love, and great memories. He was a fan-attic, a fashion icon, and a wonderful father who was rooted in his family.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Spiller, Jr.; grandmothers, Mildred Davis and Carrie Lyte; and brother, Christopher Davis.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory, wife Natalie Davis; mother, Muzetta Sue Roberts; children, Amber Pankey, Morgan-Anthony (Keyvona) Davis, and Danielle (Chris) Pittman; siblings, Larry Davis, Theresa Davis, Paula Davis, Pamela (Ray) Scott, Aaron Spiller, and Dennis Spiller; and eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation 1:00pm and Funeral 2:00pm Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.

Anthony was a long time friend.. We go way back to kindergarten. I was shocked, and very saddened to hear about his passing. GOD certainly gained an exceptional angel! Aye Dee was an awesome Friend! We were at an awe when we heard of his passing. When God called him home he gained another Angel and left us here with great memories and laughs that we shared. Ms. Davis you are a lovely woman full of love and smiles and surly Aye Dee received that gift from you! Our hearts go out to you, his siblings and his wife Natalie and her family. As sad as it may be I’m sure AD is in a better place. May God bless and store his hands on you, your family and all who is going to miss AD. He can finally rest now in peace and have no pain. I’m so so sorry for your loss Natalie and have no worries God has your back and front.
Natalie words are hard to express for us to lose a wonderful son AD but GOD has greater things for him now no more pain or suffering, Natalie you hang in there with GOD, GOD will get you through this rough time just keep the Faith GOD will make you strong keep the Faith. AD was a good man and although we did not know him long, we are happy to have met and know him. We can say that we have great memories of him when we got together.

I just found out about AD and I am totally crushed about my friend. You have my deepest condolences; I know you were the loves of each others lives. I will never forgot him from Faith Mission and beyond. I pray your sorrow lifts as you remember the great times and know that God promised He will wipe away all tears when death is put under his feet. Revelations 21:4. Be encouraged, Natalie. He loved you so much.
