Ardella McGhee Blake, 91. Sunrise April 28, 1920 and Sunset December 7, 2011. She was born to Thomas and Virginia McGhee in Huntington, WV. Ardella Blake was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter Blake, five sisters and three brothers. Left to cherish her memory, daughters Janet Smith of Los Angeles, CA and Claudia Jeter of Columbus, OH, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in West Virginia, Ohio and California.

Mrs. Blake and I had many conversations over the years while we were in our side by side backyards. I've rarely met a more kind and deeply spiritual person, and feel I am a better person for knowing her. This world is a little more empty without her, and will always remember her fondly.
