Bobbie Jean Houpe, age 82. Sunrise March 13, 1935 in Shreveport, LA and Sunset October 23, 2017 in Columbus, OH.
Visitation 10 am and Funeral 11 am Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Rd.
Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.

To the family of Bobbie, you have my deepest sympathy in your loss. Death is one of the most difficult situations we must face. Isaiah 25:8 tells us “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” May you find comfort in God’s promise of the resurrection of the dead (Acts 24:15).

Dear Houpe family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Bobbie. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
