Brenda S. (Brown) Toone age 73 passed away on October 27, 2022. She was born on March 2, 1949. She was the sixth of seven children born to the late Susan and Guy Brown.

Brenda attended Columbus East High School. She furthered her education and received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development.

She enjoyed working with children. Brenda was known for her excellent cooking skills. She also loved dancing and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed the holidays.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Susan and Guy Brown; husband, Fred Toone; brother, Guy S. Brown Jr. sisters, Mary L. Richardson, and Beth Allen.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories her only child, Orlando G. (Melanie) Brown; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Byes and Clara E. Pressie ; brother John Brown. She was also blessed with a host of godchildren, nieces, nephews. She will not just leave family, but family-friends old and new. Brenda will be missed by so many.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Memorial Service 2:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
