Brian Lynne Thornton departed this life to forever be with the Lord on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at OSU Wexner Medical Center. Born March 17, 1956, in Braddock, PA to the parents of Keever Thornton and Marion Hairston Thornton.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents Keever and Marion Thornton and brother, Shawn Thornton, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his life long love, Candy Zinimon.

Brian leaves to cherish his memory, sister, Tracey Thornton, daughter, Brandy Thornton, sister-in -law, Regina Anderson, nephews, Shawn Thornton Jr., Dominique Thornton and Antjuan Holland, niece, Drake Kirkland, grandchildren, Brianna Thornton, Keeveya Thornton-Bentley, great-grandchildren, Brandon Thornton and Brilan Thornton, great nephews, NaShawn Thornton, Jaedyn Thornton and Izyiah Thornton and great nieces, Jae’Lynn Thornton and Izabella Thornton and cousin, Corey Thornton.

A special mention of his comrade “Smoothie” who never left his side. Brian had great love for his pet and Smoothie will surely miss his best friend.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.). Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
