Carolyn A. Upshaw, age 61. Sunrise February 19, 1956 and Sunset July 1, 2017 at Springfield Regional Hospital.
Preceded in death by father, Otis Williams; mother, Mabel Phelps Threats; brothers, Robert and Bruce Threats. Left to cherish her memory, son, Charles Upshaw; daughters, Davisha Upshaw, Talia Brown; brothers, Otis (Carolyn) Williams, Anthony Threats, Bruce (Sharon) Williams, Richard Higginbotham; sisters, Karen (Donald) Chilton, Carla Threats-Kelley, Danielle (Anthony) Crockett, Lisa Yates; granddaughter, Armonii Upshaw; uncle, Robert (Marselene) Phelps and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Celebration of Life 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at El Bethel Temple, 2049 Clifton Ave. (Springfield, Ohio)
Interment at Ferncliff Cemetery 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017.

Condolences from Carolyn’s sister, Glenda, and her niece Charisse and nephew Shawn.
Carolyn was a joy to be around, always making us laugh with those off the wall comments that only she could say (and get away with). It was our pleasure and blessing to have known her. I am saddened by her loss, but rejoice that she no longer has to suffer. To her loving, kind and caring sister Danielle, we love you girl! Look to the Lord for your strength. Condolences to the family.
