Charlene was born in Columbus, OH on February 16, 1930 to parents Jesse and Minnie Broady. She was a devoted member of Hope Lutheran where she was a member of the Knitting Circle and Choir.

Charlene is predeceased by parents, Jesse and Minnie Broady; sisters, Theresa and Minnie; and beloved cousins, Paul Love and Steve Taylor.

Charlene leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Harold Broady and Kenneth Jeter; daughters, Melina, Lisa, Kim, and Linda Jeter; beloved sister, Gladys Taylor; nephews, James Taylor and Richard Prysock; nieces, Theresa Russell and Diane Prysock.

A very special thanks to her best friend and beloved caregiver, her niece Theresa Russell.

Charlene will be forever missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

Private services entrusted to MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

I am so saddened to the loss of mom, but I know she’s in a better place now. I’m going to miss her smile and laugh . But mostly the conversations we use to have during the cookout gatherings, enjoying family time w/ the one’s we love.
