Charlene Taylor, 67, passed away on December 30, 2021. Charlene was born on November 15, 1954 in Hammond, LA to I W Washington and Mildred Washington.
Charlene was a member of Community Temple COGIC.
She is preceeded in death by her father, I W Washington and sister, Ethel Stokes.
Charlene is survived by sons Dan Taylor Jr. and Savalas (Lorie) Taylor; mother Mildred Washington;sisters Joyce Washington and sister Earlene Washington; grandchildren, Daron Taylor, Lacario Taylor, Malachi Taylor, Ladashea Oakley, Troy Taylor, Jazman Taylor, Michal Taylor and Ezekiel Taylor; 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation 12:00 noon and Funeral 1:00pm Monday, January 10, 2022 The New Community Temple COGIC 338 Harker St. Mask and Social Distancing are required. Interment at Mansfield Cemetery.

Earlene, my condolences to you, Charlene’s Son’s, grandchildren, and your entire family. You know if I could be there with you to celebrate Charlene’s life, I would. But please know that you all are in my prayers and thoughts my friend. I know it is extremely hard losing your identical twin sister Earlene. Wow we all met in Simpson Junior High and remained friends over the years, which is a blessing. She will be missed, and she was loved.
