Charnet “Bootsie” Gay Green, age 44, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.
Charnet was born on August 10, 1977, to Charlotte A. Frazier and George E. Green. She was a graduate of South High School and Columbus State Community College. At the age of 13, Charnet accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Trinity Baptist Church. Throughout her life, she was faithful and committed to serving God. Charnet belonged to Dorcas Foreign Missionary. She sang with the Anointed Voices of Praise, Harmony Force Shape Note Singers, and was on the altar ministry. Charnet worked at Life Care Alliance of Ohio.
Charnet was an avid shopper. She enjoyed reading, watching shows and movies, gospel music, and participating in family activities.
Preceded in death by infant brother; father, George E. Green; maternal grandparents, Ruth A. Frazier and Emmanuel Frazier; paternal grandparents George W. and Geniebell Green.
Left to cherish her memory, pride and joy son, Christian D. Green; mother, Charlotte A. Frazier; brother, Ricardo Frazier; sister, Charity (Gerardo Jr.) Hernandez; aunts, Penny (Larry) Sampson, Karen Hammond, and Maria Long; uncle, Richard (Katherine) Frazier, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.
