Clayden Chase McNeil was born August 16, 1992 in Canton, Ohio to parents Christopher and Minerva McNeil
(Hamilton). He was the youngest of 6 having 1 brother and 4 sisters. He moved to Columbus at an early age and attended Columbus Public Schools. He received his high school diploma at Indian River High School in 2012.
Clayden loved spending time with his family (cookouts and birthday celebrations) and the neighborhood he grew up in “the Southside of Columbus”. He loved to travel and experience things outside of Ohio. Clayden also loved to dress nicely and to be “flashy”. He had an infectious smile and people were drawn to him. He shared many special bonds.
Clayden’s greatest blessing in life was his son Royce Issiac McNeil whom he shared with his girlfriend Imani McCants. The joy that Royce brought Clayden cannot be described in words. He was an extremely proud father.
Clayden was unexpectedly taken from this life on January 10, 2023. He will be loved, missed, and never
forgotten by many.
Clayden is preceded in death by his mother, Minerva McNeil (Hamilton); sister Caprica Hamilton; brother, Christopher Hamilton and daughter Lola McNeil. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Royce McNeil; father, Christopher Mcneil; sisters, Contonna Hamilton, Taneisha Clark, Chrishawna McNeil; girlfriend Imani McCants; favorite nephew , Trevontae Hamilton and a host of loved ones family and friends.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, January 20, 2023 at Chapel of Peace – East, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park. McNeil…. I love you and your family I remember when you came in our lives 20yrs ago it seems like yesterday. You had a caring soul but also stood on what and how you felt. My Brother blood couldn’t make us any closer. I love you I love you I love you ❤️ so many stories, laughter and tears until I see you again my brother
Death is unpredictable, and unbelievable when it hits close to home. I will hold the relationship we had even closer to my heart ….You knew and know i love you , despite our differences… until we meet again

Clayden so very sad to see you go. I am so grateful that you were able to experience life…. You traveled the east coast to west coast, lived to the fullest, experienced true love and had a son, and provided for your family. Your life is definitely gone too soon and the impact you had on so many will be remembered.
I can’t believe they took you alway from us , im just so lost for words . who can I run to now ? that was my only uncle I had left & you just don’t understand what stress you just put me thru , I loved you so much man.
