Dale E. Porter II, age 48. Sunrise September 30, 1969 and Sunset April 12, 2018.
Dale attended Southeast Career Center and Independence High School graduating in 1987. He worked at Baxter Medical in Illinois.
Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Gilberta Spray.
Dale leaves to cherish his memory, father, Dale E. Porter; stepfather, Wade G. Ludaway Sr.; children, Amara Porter and Dionte Harris; siblings, Victoria Wade II, Michelle Ludaway, Delbert Porter, Keith Porter, Torrie Porter, Ronald Porter Sr. and JaQuay Irwin, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dale will be forever missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Friday, April 27 , 2018 at Marlan J. Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace North, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Union Cemetery

We know this is a very sad and difficult time for the family, you have our deepest sympathy. In just a little while all of the pain and sorrow that we feel from the death of our love ones will cease and be replaced with joy, because the former things have passed away.
Dale I will always remember the fun times you were great to know and will be missed. I know the Lord will provide your family with peace and strengh at this time. RIP

My fondest memories are of the cousins ,myself and my two sisters Tomika and Cherise. With Vicky, Wade,Dale and Michelle. Along with Johnny, Sherry and Godfrey going to Marion Franklin Recreation center for the summer. Riding bikes and swimming pools and Cub scouts with grandma Ludaway. Rest on DP,rest on.
Dale was a great, fun, loving and caring guy. You will be missed my condolences to his entire family for your loss. God gave him wings now he can fly in peace. Love you my friend.
I wish I could’ve spent more time with you I see a lot of myself in you both physically and in your personality. I’ll never forget the moments we shared,since I was a kid til the last time we spoke Ipray the Lord gives you rest and I’m proud to call you my Dad
I am sorry for the loss of a great, caring, most generous gentleman. He never had anything negative to say about anyone. We will miss you Dale. Rest in peace.
