DeloDelores Rose (Smith) Isaac was born March 2, 1942 in Newark, Ohio. She attended East High School in Columbus, Ohio.
Delores was a supervisor for Kroger Bakery for 37½ years. Delores was a lifelong member of Higher Ground. She served as a Deaconess, an usher, and volunteered in the food pantry.
Delores is preceded in death by, parents, Clearence Matthew and Ruby Lee Solomon Mitchell; son, Tony Anthony Smith; and lifelong friend, Thomas Davis.
Delores leaves to cherish her memory, children Laurice (Ernest) Miller, Lawrence Smith III, and Lenora Smith; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; siblings: 8 sisters, 2 brothers; and a host of family and friends.
Delores will be truly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
Private Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday, July 27, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
Interment at Kingwood Memorial Park.

Aunt Delores you were always so classy and beautiful. You always had encouraging positive words for me. I’m going to miss you. Rest in Heaven and tell my grandma I said hi! Love you always
My condolences to the family. Such an incredible woman who always encouraged me at Higher Ground as Worship Leader and one of the musicians in the Higher ground Bishop’s Chior.. She will always be remembered … Prayers and thoughts to the family…
I am so sadden to find out of Sis Delores passing. She was always so kind to me and help me out when may son’s death. Rest in the presence of the Lord
