Earline Ross, a beloved member of the Columbus community and a retiree from General Motors, will be celebrated for a life well-lived and memories cherished. Born in Maybeury, WV on June 29, 1944, Earline was a graduate of East High School in Columbus, Ohio and excelled in her career at General Motors.

Family was at the center of Earline’s world, and she found joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. An accomplished cook, she would often gather her loved ones around the table to enjoy her delicious meals. A devoted member of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, Earline generously served in the Nurses Ministry, Usher Board, and shared her beautiful voice in the church choir.

Earline’s genuine love for literature led her on many adventures through the pages of her books and the challenge of word searches. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, beautiful dimples and unwavering faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Early Houston English Sr and Corrine Moore English.

Left to cherish her memory, children Derrick Lamont Ross Sr., Horace Ross and Chrystal Lynn Ross; grandchildren, Artae Lamar Ross, India Tutt, Derrick E. ( Tiara) Ross Jr., Derrion L. Condolences for the family of “Earline Ross”

Condolence from Dr. Mary McWilliams on February 29th, 2024 9:27 am

Loved my Ms. Earline. I will always cherish our pew giggles on Sunday mornings before, during and after service. Between her and Ms. Hattie’s cutting up, it was never a dull moment over in our corner. It was always comforting to see her in her spot- 4th row on the corner, left side behind Ms. Hattie with her candy bag. She will be missed.
