Edward J. “Eddie” Anderson, age 56. Sunrise May 1, 1961 and Sunset June 27, 2017. Preceded in death by fathers, Herman Thomas Anderson Sr., Herbert F. Gore; sister, Lynn Gore Holt. Left to cherish his memory, son, Demond Newsom; mother, Doris L. Gore; brothers, Bryan Gore, Herman Thomas Anderson, Jr., Timothy (Barbara) Gore; sisters, Jennifer L. Anderson, Debra Holloway, Marie (Robert) Hairston; grandchildren, Za-Riyah Newsom, Shemya Johnson, Andreus Johnson, Zariah Wade and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at the MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Avenue (one block east of Noe-Bixby Rd. turn north on Lonsdale Rd.)

I was truly saddened by the news of the passing of my good friend Eddie (Gore) Anderson. We grew up during our teenage years and early adulthood and had a lot of good times and I knew him quite well. He was a great friend. We grew up together in Glen Jean and studied at Dodge City University, those who know about Glen Jean will know what I’m talking about. He was a good friend and I will miss him. My prayers go out to his family and friends. Rest in Peace.
