Edwina Portis age 60, went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 6th 2018 .
She is preceded in death by brother Tommie Portis Sr. uncle Calvin Portis grandmother Rosalie Portis and grandfather Philip Portis.
She leaves to cherish her memory with mother Cora Mae Friend twin brother Edwin Portis sister Jennifer daughter Coronda Portis grandson Cordell Calloway granddaughter Colasia McCullough and many nieces nephews cousins and other relatives and friends .
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at Marlan J. Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace North, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Condolences for the family of “Edwina Portis”
To the family of Edwina, you have my condolences in your loss. At 1 Corinthians 15:26 it tells us “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” However, because of God’s loving kindness he provided Jesus Christ as a ransom sacrifice to rescue us from sin and death! (John 3:16) You have God’s promise that Edwina will live again. (Acts 24:15)
