Eric and I worked together at DL Steiner for many years; solving engineering problems and building infrastructure that will power people’s lives for many years to come. I am thankful for my time with him. The time was too short, but he made an impact on me that will last all of my life. All the best to his friends and family.

Eric was a dear friend. We were in school together and he became a brother from another mother. His family always treated me as family. I am blessed he passed my way in this life. He truly made me a better man. Going to miss his laugh most. My condolences to his wife and family. When I close my eyes a see a great amount of a man that spread nothing but LOVE! It is with heavy hearts that Tabitha and I send you this message of condolences.

Our knowledge of Eric began on the evening when you and Eric rescued me from the roadside as I struggled to restart my motorcycle. Such a patient and kind man! We will always remember your visits to our home and language office in Columbus.

We are thinking of you, Mary, and will continue to pray for you and your family as you go through this very difficult time.

I’m so devastated by this news. Eric was one of my best buddies from kindergarten all through high school. My deep heartfelt condolences to his family. Eric had one of the biggest hearts and kindest souls I’ve ever known. I’ll never forget him. We were all so blessed to have him in our lives and he will be greatly missed.

Dear Gerri and family, I was so sad to learn of Eric’s death. As you know, my sons (Mark and Dan) went to school with him from Kindergarten through High School. He was often at our house just hanging out with the guys and was always such a joy to have around. May you be consoled by beautiful memories and the pride you must have in raising such a well-loved son.

I was so very sorry to hear of Eric’s passing. I grew up with Eric, and was blessed and proud to call him a friend. He is truly one of the most wonderful people I have ever known- a gift that came from the loving family that was so wonderful to me, as well. I often think of Eric and his dad when I volunteer to coach my own son. All I have to do is close my eyes and I can see Eric and I… and many more, crammed into the back of his dad’s car to go to practice, or on the field or in the gym. It is those memories that I always think of when trying to be a good coach and parent. My prayers for his wife and all of his family

I’m just now seeing the obituary of Eric and was very surprised. I worked with him for a short time at HMV and found him to be the nicest and most professional guy. The family has my sincere condolences and prayers. May God keep and strengthen during this most difficult time.

I just found out about Eric’s passing in the ONU newsletter. Eric and I were both resident assistants together at ONU. He was such a great person. Always had that smile. I’m so saddened to hear about this. He really was a great person to work with and be around. I pray that God gives the family strength and blessings.
