Mother Fannie Gaddy-Woody was born on April 21, 1951, in New York, New York and departed this life on June 19, 2023 at 72 years of age, surrounded by family.

Fannie is a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandma, great-great grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She worked at Paradise Gift Shop at the Columbus Airport for 22 years as a supervisor. She was a beautiful woman, “inside and out.” She had a very generous heart and opened her heart to anyone in need. There wasn’t a single person that didn’t love her. She loved spending time with her family. It gave her joy. She was a faithful member and greatly beloved Church Mother at Glory Evangelistic Ministries Church in Bexley, Ohio for many years.

Fannie will be greatly missed by her daughters: Teasha (Orlando) Chatman; Shavon Smith, Shanix (Cameron) Gaddy; Tishon Lovelady; Lorraine Lovelady. Special daughters, Erica Dillard, Tameeka Hairston. Sons: Joseph (Kimberly) Counts, Danny Lovelady; sister Patricia Gaddy-Williams; and brother Senny Gaddy. Grandchildren: Nateasha Anderson, Johnny Gaddy, Natia Owusu-Ansah, Nateaqua Gaddy, Brineasha Woods, Terrica Pugh, Erica Pugh, Tiavon Pugh, Fannie Gaddy, Shania Rogers, Terrence Taylor, Johniel Counts, Anatasia Taylor, Damita Counts, John Lovelady, Juan Lovelady, Sparkles Lovelady, Johnna Lovelady, Cortney Board, Shawn Lovelady, Derron Waddell, Lamel Ferguson, Dan’Neasha James, Martavious Jone, John Whorton, McKenzey, Alaiyah , Delisha and Jasmine Trowell. Great-Grandchildren: Da’quwann, Za’niayh, Hazel, Genesis, Amoni, Xay’von, Ny’asia, Aaliyah, Noire, Bria, Denzel, Khloe, Kane, Tyger, Zyliqe, James, Davionna, Daeniyah, Rashaya, Ramyah, Aniyah, Allen, Dallas, Dior, Denver, Tabias, Zay’vier, Zyaire, Kyla, Kingston, Derreon, D’mya, Derron, D’King, LaQuantea, Shawn, Shawnee, Chistopher, Ila, Two great-great grandchildren, Kingston Smith and U’lani Courts. Special nephew, Darrell Weaver and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Fannie was preceded in death by parents: Joe (Zeline) Gaddy; Husband, Aaron Woody. Brothers: Calvin, Joe, Ray, and Nathaniel. Sisters: Janet, Doris and Margie. Grandson: AlJuanta Counts, Allen Gaddy, Juan Lovelady, Namel Ferguson and son, Glen Lovelady.

Visitation 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, Monday June 26, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).
