Gregory Binion was born January 9,1955 in Columbus Ohio to the late William Binion and Lilian Binion-Johnson. He was escorted to heaven by the angels on December 6, 2020.

Gregory attended Columbus Public Schools and was a graduate of South High School. He was a triathlete and excelled in basketball, football and baseball which landed him a full ride scholarship to The University of Cincinnati. He was an employee at The Right Touch cleaning service as well as a chemical dependency counselor at Mary Haven.

Gregory was proceeded in death by his parents, William Binion and Lilian Binion–Johnson, and brother, Waymon Johnson.

Gregory leaves to cherish his memory, children, Myron (Curtis) Jackson-Young, Darrell Finch, Nakia Thrweatt, Maisha Blalock, Gregory (Bookum) Thomas, and Gianna Binion; sisters Ommie L. Binion and Louise Johnson; brothers, Edward K. (Tanya) Binion and Theolonius Johnson all of Columbus Ohio, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing 1:00 PM followed by a Private Visitation 2:00 PM and Private Funeral Service 3:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.
