James Allen Holmes, better known as (Homie) 54, Columbus, Ohio went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Homie was born to James Marvin Allen Hill and Nan Holmes on May 30, 1965 in Lexington, Ky. He was the youngest son of 5 siblings.

Homie held many odd jobs, but, loved detailing cars, he was passionate about cooking (sometimes, creating his own unique dishes), most of all homie was a loving and dedicated son who honored his mother. One of his greatest joys was his relationship with his mother, he fiercely protected his family. He was known and loved by many and knew no strangers. People were naturally drawn to his friendly, fun-loving nature. James will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by Mamma, and Gramps (Grandparents).

Remaining to treasure his memory are his beloved mother (Nan) who was his dedicated care giver, Father James (Gertrude), Eldest brother William (Sophia), Twin sisters Sherri (Les), Terri, and baby sister Michelle. He has aunts and uncles, and many cousins (Lexington, KY). He has a special niece Drema, nephews Ryan, Dj, Justin, Mykel, Dominique, and, Obie, great nieces Elaysia, and Ella, great nephew Bo. Homie shared a tight relationship with friends Daryl Moore and Theo along with a host of other friends.
