James N. Oliver was born in Portland, Oregon to Tracey B. Hawkins and Tommy Oliver. His mother is from Columbus, OH & his father, Los Angeles, CA. He is preceded in death by grandmothers, Diana Moss, Bobby Foulkner; sister, Abrianna Harper; and uncle, Micheal Crim.
He leaves behind parents, Tracey B. Hawkins, and Tommy Oliver; siblings, Trashawanda McClendon, Jada Beverly, Mikeal Pugh, Tommy Oliver, Jr., Jazmine Adair, Akeem Oliver, Shallen Clark, Aubranna Retat; nieces and nephews, TayShaun Gavin, Jr., Alaya Davis, Alaya Davis, Amor Dobson, Mazi-Jean Millie, Vivian Millie, Callie Roy, Tanjanae Oliver, Jamir Oliver, Genesis Bauticta, Tahtanya Jones, Reari Jones; grandfather, James C. Beverly; grandmother, Joanna Beverly; host of uncles, aunts, cousins and the extended family of Marsh and Johnstons.

Mikael, I am so saddened to hear about you losing your brother. Since, I lost my brother, I feel the pain your heart feels. Although today, you cannot imagine it happening, the pain does ease. As a mother, my heart grieves for his mother and for every face I beheld as I watched the video of his life. Yes, life indeed is short but heaven is forever! Hugs and kisses. I love you, Aunt Teenie
