Condolence from Marla Bump on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

To John's family and friends,

I had the opportunity to get to know John when I was as an aide to Senator Grace Drake and then a fellow lobbyist. He was a true gentleman and always had a funny story to tell. He was a good man whom I could tell loved hus family very much. I was very sorry to hear of his passing, but grateful that I knew him. May God bless him and all of you.

Condolence from Emily Lucas on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

Dear Veda and family, It is with a heavy heart that I write this condolence. Butch left here too soon and I know that you will miss him terribly. The most important thing is that he lived a event filled life and offered a great deal to his community, his country and most importantly to his God and family. I know that he is in an amazing place filled with love and joy. He will always be with us in spirit. I have fond memories of him growing up in Springfield. Veda you are a wonderful person who did a wonderful job as a mother and grandmother. Your tremendous spirit is to be admired. Thank you so much for staying in touch. Although I could not be with you Sunday, my prayers are with you and the family. Very Sincerely, Emily Lucas
