John Hue Littleton Sr. was born June 18, 1936 in Brookhaven, MS. He departed this life on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
John’s early years were spent in Mississippi, relocating to Chicago, Illinois at the age of 16. John had various employers leading to his long career with Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent, retiring with 34 years of service. His employment had led him to Missouri, to Texas and finally ending in Ohio.
John was a member of Triedstone Baptist Church. He was active with the senior usher board.
John is preceded in death by his parents Marco and Annie Lou Littleton, brothers J.B and Andrew Littleton.
John leaves to cherish his memory with loving wife, Carolyn; children, John Littleton Jr., Charles E. Benson, Brenda (Westley Sr.) Brown, Secrisuria (Roy) Casey, and Geriandi Jackson; step son, Carl (Lisa) Hayes; brother, Eddie (Fran) Littleton; sisters, Annie Ruth Littleton, Emma Harris, and Betty Smith; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
John will be forever missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Triedstone Baptist Church 858 E. 3rd Ave.
Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates
