Louis Harris, Sr was born June 6, 1987 to Margaret Harris and Jimmie Kimbrough. He received his GED from Dept of Education on June 8, 2008. It was one of his proudest moments, outside of being a father to his only son. Louis loved his family and he rode for them, right or wrong, through thick and thin. His smile could brighten a room and he will be truly forever missed.

Louis is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Cloteal Harris and Mary Kimbrough; grandfathers, Willie Blair and Bennie Kimbrough; uncle, Rose Blair; and sister, Sukia Kimbrough.

Louis leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Margaret Harris; father, Jimmie Kimbrough; son, Louis Harris Jr,; fiancé, Nichole Rodriquez; sisters, Patricia Harris and Latasha Harris; brother, Arthur Harris; aunts, Margaret Long, Miracle Long, Jennie Long, Martina Blair, Dianla Davis, Fay Dozer, Mary’Ann Elkins, Janice Kimbrough, Shelia Johnson, and Greta Kimbrough; uncles, Bennie Kimbrough, Keefe Kimbrough, Robert Blair, James Blair, and Willie Blair; and a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives, friends, and the whole Newark family.

Louis will be truly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

A sad, tragic and unnecessary ending to a life and the lives of others. Our family enjoyed sharing a part of “Lou-Town’s” adolescence. He had a warm, friendly smile and an event warmer heart. He had so much potential and We only wish he believed in himself like his many friend’s did. We hope you found peace, buddy.

Our Family sends our deepest condolences for your great loss. Louis spent so much time at our house during his school years here in Newark with Sharon, Mike & Maria Holmes.
