Mamie L. Williams 71 of Springfield, passed away Monday January 18, 2010 at 9: 45 A.M. in Springfield Regional Medical Center High Street Campus. She was born June 11, 1938 in Sparta, Georgia the daughter of Oliver L. and Easter G. (Tucker) Walker. She was a former member of St.Luke Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams is survived by her loving family, including her children, Edward E. (Cheryl) Williams of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Leroy W. and Nathan Williams and Donna K. Williams all of Springfield. Two brothers, Norris L. and Charles Walker. Three sisters, Odessa B. Bryant-Larkin, Willa M. Garrison and Rosetta Walker all of Springfield. A daughter inlaw, Mary Williams of Atalanta, Georgia. 16 grandchildren aned.,22 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elwood Williams. Three sons, Jerome, Charles and Ray Anthony Williams. One brother, Ricky Walker.
