My wife, Sandy, and I, wish to offer our deepest sympathies to the family. Mary is such a beloved person, and will truly be missed. Her quiet presence always added substance to whatever environment she lended herself, and her limitless patience was appreciated by all of us. “Rest In Power”… my beloved aunt.

To Mary’s family
I am so sorry for your loss, you had a wonderful Mom, who I know you will miss very much.
In her soft spoken voice, & cheery laugh, it was good times working with her @ O S U.
May she rest in peace.

Condolence from Cathy Velez on May 17th, 2022 9:07 pm

Jean & John,
May your precious memories of your Mother help your heavy hearts heal as you remember ALL of your happy times together. Mary’s distinctive laugh was very infectious, and we all enjoyed hearing her. She was such a kind hearted, and very giving person. She loves you dearly just as you love her, and she will walk with you daily, always in your heart. We were already missing her yearly visits to North Carolina, and we knew she would visit if she could. We truly enjoyed listening to her and Daddy talk about their past. Life may have been very hard at times for them, but they shared some truly wonderful times together growing up, and when she would visit.
We love you both, and we will ALWAYS love OUR Mary, may she truly rest in peace.
