To The Family of Mary “Tine” White-Smith:

I was blessed to have met Tine via my Uncle Leon and Aunt Lillian Barwick many years ago during their visit to Columbus. Tine’s kindness and pleasant conversations were always welcomed. Four years ago, Tine visited my mother in the hospital while my mother was fighting for her life. Tine brought a beautiful arrangement of flowers for my mother and doughnuts for the family as we waited for my mother to pull through her surgery. Tine’s mere presence lightened our spirits and her thoughtfulness truly touched my mother’s heart, for which I am and will always be forever grateful. Tine’s kindness and beautiful spirit will not be forgotten.

My deepest sympathies to Mary White-Smith’s family.
It was nice having met Tine. I particularly enjoyed our conversation about travel, back in the 1990s. She was so kind to have welcomed us into her home.

I loved Tine’s beautiful spirit, radiant smile and infectious laughter. She immediately soothed my troubled heart just hearing her voice. Her kind words of wisdom guided me in difficult times like the time she came to the hospital and comforted me when my sister fell extremely ill. Tine was an amazing person; I will miss our beautiful Tine.
