Michael Conrad Allen, age 58, was born on, August 6, 1964, in Charleston, West Virginia to Marvella J. Allen and George M. Ford. Michael was married to the love of his life and soul mate, Lisa (Elizabeth) Rodriguez-Allen for 11 Years, but they had 23 wonderful years
together.

Michael was known by everyone who knew him, or met him to have such a gentle, loving, genuine, caring and soft-hearted soul, who loved life and loved hard. There was never a person that he met throughout his life that didn’t immediately know he was a man of great character.

Michael was the President and Owner of Accurate Painting Services LTD, since 2006. He studied construction at Columbus State Community College, and he graduated from Walnut Ridge High School.

Michael was a member, Assistant President of the Board of Elite and Trustees, Men’s Group leader and a worship leader at Jehovah Rapha Outreach Church (“JROC”). He was one of the original members to help start the church in 2001. His praise will be continually echoed in the JROC sanctuary and throughout the memories of all of the members.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Pastor George M. Ford; stepfather, Robert Zellner, Jr.; mother-in-law, Carmen N. Rodriguez; grandparents, Betty Lee Bell and George Ford (fraternal), Fontaine and Annie Allen (paternal); step sibling, Larry Justice. On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Michael Allen, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, transitioned to be with the Lord.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Lisa (Elizabeth) Rodriguez-Allen; children, sons, Michael A. Allen, Christopher Ford (Kristen), daughters, Mikayla C. Allen and Tatiyanna A. Rodriguez- Allen; step children, Antwann Smith, Brittany Moore (Michael), Raymond Smith; mother, Marvella Bryant (Ronald); father-in-law, Israel Rodriguez; step mother’s, Barbara Ford and Vicki Zellner (Robert); siblings, Leslie Allen, Robert Zellner (Kristen), Tara Ford, Jamal Ford, Raymond Rodriguez (Eunice), Israel L. Stringer, Jamari Smith, Jordan Moore, Treyvon Ford, Javion Smith; best friends, Derrick Broome, Rick Brown, Eric Edwards, Mark Hutchinson, Quentin Montgomery; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and many dear friends and work associates.

Michael’s compassion and charisma were felt by anyone he came in contact with and he was always immediately loved by even stranger’s that met him. His love for The Ohio State University Buckeyes football and singing karaoke was two of his most compassionate things he enjoyed. He had a special gift of making people laugh and bringing out the best in them. He lived life to the fullest and touched many in a special way. We are going to miss him dearly and will cherish his love, laughter, and joy. We love you, Michael!

My condolences to the family of Mike. I have worked on and off with Mike for 15 years. Mike was one of the kindest, nicest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing or working with. I enjoyed every conversation we ever had. I am saddened for his family and for my soul which will miss him dearly. But I know I will see my brother again and we will have many more conversations when I do. The sadness is for us left behind but the heavens are rejoicing as they welcome him home. I pray for peace for his family and that they can find solace in the memories they made until they are reunited. Amen.
