Michael S Glanton
Michael S. (Mini Mike) Glanton passed away suddenly from an undetected medical condition on Friday November 2, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. Mike was 52 years old.

Michael was born on March 6, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio to Regina and Judson Glanton. He was affectionately known to many as “Mini Mike”. Mike grew up in Southfield where he had an avid love for roller skating and playing football with neighborhood friends. As an adult, Mike was an amazingly skilled jack of all trades, self-taught in many areas, and helpful whenever needed. If there was a need for something hung, assembled, painted, disassembled, moved, built, etc. he was “that guy”. A true scarlet and gray fan, he never missed an Ohio State game.
Mike, like many, had struggles throughout the later years of his life but more recently he and his family were happy to redeem lost time. Words cannot truly express how much his absence is being felt right now by family and friends.

Michael is survived by his father; Judson Glanton Sr, Grandmother, Alveta “Nana” Moore; sons, Michael Maurice Glanton of West Virginia, DeJuan Moore and DeQuan Moore of Columbus, OH; and daughter, Whitney Harris of Columbus, OH; siblings, Angela Campbell, Michelle Glanton, TonesiaGlanton-Williams,Donald (Meisha) Glanton, Maurice (Daphine) Glanton,Amber Glanton, Heather Glanton (William) Johnson, Karen Evans, Jason Glanton, Judson Jr. (Desha) Glanton, and Armand (Kristi Renee Salazar) Glanton: eight grandchildren, very close nephews, Antonio Campbell and Rolando Howard and a host of other nieces and nephews who loved “Uncle Mike” dearly and many many friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Regina Glanton, Great Uncle, Perin Moore, and aunts, Willa Moore and Ann Marie Davis.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. I pray that you find comfort in knowing that your lives are enriched by having shared their love. Leo Buscaglia
