Mother Alma Ivery

Mother Alma Ivery was born on June 27, 1927 and at 94 years of age passed back into the Arms of God on August 2, 2021.
Mother Ivery is retired from DCSC (DSCC) in 1994 and worked part time at the Ohio Dept of Taxation where she made more friends, but her joy was serving the Lord and her church Triedstone. She enjoyed telling others about the goodness of the Lord. She would say “He’s Good I tell you”, “He’s Better than good”. She loved her Pastor Bishop Jerome Ross and First Lady Patricia Ross.
She took so much pride in how the church has provided services and programs for the community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Gussie (Harris) Ivery; stepmother, Turkeila Ivery; Brothers, Lewis (Betty), Edward (Virginia); Sister Helen Ivery; Grandson, Reginald Ivery Jr. (Little Reggie) and Beloved Daughter- in- Law, Daisy Ivery.
Mother Ivery leaves to cherish her memory her loving Sons, Ronald and Reginald (Rosiland) Ivery; Sister and Caregiver, Frieda Diane (Ivery) and spouse O’Neal Jones, her personal chef. She also has a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren,
great nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends as well as her Triedstone Family.
Mother Ivery will be truly missed.
Private Visitation 10:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, 858 E. 3rd Ave 43201. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. LIVINGSTON AVE.
