Mrs Christeen Cosby, 73, passed away on April 9, 2022 in Dayton, Ohio. Christeen was born on October 7, 1948 in Flora, MS to Ruth and Fate Washington II

Mrs. Cosby was a member of Wilson Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Flora, MS, served as First Lady of Paradise Free Will Baptist Church and later joined Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Mansfield, OH where she served in the Choir and Feed The Hungry Ministry.

She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Pastor James Cosby, son, Willie Earl Cosby; siblings, Fate Washington III , Ruthie Johnson, and Robert Williams and stepmother, Mary Ella Washington.

Christeen is survived by her daughter Victoria (Brandon) Doss; son James (Tiffany) Cosby II; brother, E.V. Washington; sisters ,Helen Burkes; Katherine McClenty; Virginia (Melvin) Hudson; Ella Jones; and VernaLee Washington; grandchildren, Tiara (Malik) Hollwell, James Cosby III; Tia Cosby; Jaden Blackshear; and Jaxson Cosby; great-grandchild Trace Hollwell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Saturday, April 16, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE MANSFIELD 753 McPherson St.
