KING,
Nancy Ann King, 65, unexpectedly went Home to Glory on October 13, 2013.
Nancy affectionately called Ms. Nancy, Big Mama & Nuk Nuk, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved life and she loved her family. Nancy was an awesome singer who loved to sisng and dance to the musical group The Whispers. Her firery personality touched many and her passion for cooking home cooked meals will be missed by the entire family. Nancy was a strong woman who fought a good fight, until her last breath. Nancy, lost her battle with liver disease late October 13, 2013. The tenacity she held in her was instilled in her children. She was loved and will be missed by many. May God be the Glory and cover Nancy and her family as her shell is laid to reast and her soul returns Home to Glory.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Pearl Shank Long, sister Brenda Elmore and grandson Terrance Barbour.
Nancy is survived by her children Lance, Jacqueline, Terrance (Krischanna), Bariki (Michael) King and Saleema (Arthur) Barbour, sisters Delores Hayden, Drucilla & Wilma Elmore and Linda Jabbar, brother Darryl Elmore, grandchildren Breyonna, Marquetta (Lorenzo), David, DeJuan, Samirah, Abe, Kashyla, Katerra, Lil Terrance, and kascherri and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
